Life Events during COVID-19: Baptisms, Funerals & Weddings
We recognise that many of you might be feeling anxious about how these changes will affect any upcoming funeral or wedding services. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us
The latest national Church of England guidelines during COVID-19 are available here. Funeral services and wedding services can now resume in the church building, with social distancing measures and limits on how many can attend.
The information below was written before social distancing came into effect.
Baptism in the Church of England is an important part of the Christian faith journey for individuals, families and the wider worshipping community. We hold baptism services around 4 times a year as part of our regular Sunday worship.
We invite those preparing for baptism and their supporters, or parents & godparents in the case of children, to join us for baptism preparation sessions a couple of weeks before the baptism service.
The next baptisms in 2020 at St Laurence’s Church are: to be confirmed
If you would like to enquire about getting baptised or bringing your children for baptism on this date, please complete one of the forms below and contact email@example.com
