Baptisms
Baptism in the Church of England is an important part of the Christian faith journey for individuals, families and the wider worshipping community. We hold baptism services several times a year as part of our regular Sunday worship.
We invite those preparing for baptism and their supporters, or parents & godparents in the case of children, to join us for baptism preparation sessions a couple of weeks before the baptism service.

Weddings & Banns of Marriage
If you’re looking to get married and would like to explore having a wedding service at St Laurence’s Church, we’d love to have an initial conversation! Please use our enquiry form below. Our Church administrator will then arrange a time to meet you to explain the process of getting married at St Laurence’s church and check to see if you have a ‘qualifying connection’.

Funerals
Funeral services at St Laurence’s and the local crematorium or cemeteries can be arranged through your Funeral Director. Please ask them to contact Laura Edmunds in the church office directly on 02476 667460 or email office@stlaurences.org

It is often possible to arrange funerals on Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays when clergy are available.
